under whose control, which merges an intimate contemporary
dance performance with digital video and installation, under the direction
of Swiss-born choreographer and visual artist Andrea Haenggi.
Five female dancers inhabit a corner in a room and its sculptural twin,
exploring Romanian - French philosopher E. M Cioran aphorism, "to be is to
be cornered". This event is part of the multidisciplinary swisspeaksFESTIVAL,
a celebration of Swiss arts, lifestyle, education, and business.

AMDaT's new visual motion construction, under whose control,
takes shape from a piece of common geometry: the corner of a room. The entire work
evolves from the corner: the set juxtaposes a real corner and an 8 foot high sculptural
twin erected in the performance space, the movement happens around and on the corner,
the video is projected into the corner, and the installation reproduces corners in
miniature, serving both as reliquaries containing everyday objects and as the seats
from which the audience will watch the multi-media spectacle. "Through the installation
the audience will be moved to consider their own corners of the world, as I am starting
to investigate mine", choreographer Haenggi says.
